NHS Frimley Health Foundation Trust

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust provides NHS hospital services for around 900,000 people across Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and south Buckinghamshire.

They brought together Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to create Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust on 1 October 2014.

Their aim is simple. To provide the highest quality healthcare possible to you.

As well as delivering excellent general hospital services to local people, they provide specialist heart attack, vascular, stroke, spinal, cystic fibrosis and plastic surgery services across a much wider area.

They have three main hospitals:

  • Frimley Park in Frimley near Camberley
  • Heatherwood in Ascot
  • Wexham Park near Slough

They also run outpatient clinics and diagnostic services from:

  • Aldershot
  • Farnham
  • Fleet
  • Windsor
  • Maidenhead
  • Bracknell
  • Chalfont St Peter

NHS Frimley Health and NCIMI

NHS Frimley Health’s partnership with NCIMI (National Consortium of Intelligent Medical Imaging) is led by Dr Amrita Kuma, Clinical Lead in Artificial Intelligence for the Trust and a Consultant Radiologist.

She has a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence and is currently leading trust wide research collaboration to set up and implement a digital enabled AI infrastructure. 

Frimley is partnering with NCIMI to further this goal to be a digitally AI enabled NHS Trust. Their vision is to be a leader in health and wellbeing, delivering exceptional services for their communities using an AI-enabled infrastructure.

This partnership is supported by the Research & Development department, and a close collaboration with Frimley Integrated Care System.
